La presente investigación se realizó en la región de Chiquimula con el objetivo de evaluar tratamientos químicos y mecánicos en el control de malezas en el cultivo de maní (Arachis hypogaea L.). El estudio se desarrolló bajo un diseño experimental en condiciones de campo, comparándose diferentes métodos de control mediante la aplicación de herbicidas y prácticas mecánicas, y registrándose la incidencia de malezas y el comportamiento del cultivo. Los resultados mostraron diferencias en la eficacia de los tratamientos evaluados, así como variaciones en el desarrollo y rendimiento del maní, asociadas al tipo de control aplicado durante el ciclo productivo. |
