| Summary, etc | La presente investigación se realizó en la aldea de Xeabaj, municipio de Santa Apolonia, Chimaltenango, evaluando ocho variedades de arveja dulce. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que las variedades Sugar Snap Rogers y Canche fueron las mejores comparadas con las demás variedades evaluadas con un rendimiento neto de 8,708.33 kg/ha y 7,710. kg/ha respectivamente, la variedad Mega fue la presentó mayor infestación de larvas y adultos de mosca minadora, la variedad Cristal de Dorsin fue la mejor con la menor infestación de larvas, adultos y daño en hojas de mosca minadora, esto posible por sus características fenotípicas, la variedad Mega produjo 7.17 % de rechazo de vainas dañadas por mosca minadora. |
