La cuenca del río Polochic se encuentra ubicada en la parte Norte del país, teniendo como divisoria de aguas a la Sierra de las Minas en la parte sur y en la parte norte a la región Karstica del municipio de Senahú. Posee la cuenca una condición topográfica de relieve pronunciado en la parte original, y a medida que aumenta el cauce del río se van formando tierra de aluvión ricas en agricultura y ganadería, siendo una reserva potencial para el país. Por lo tanto siendo esta zona rica en recursos naturales y por no haber sido mayormente estudiada se penso en la determinación del comportamiento del ciclo hidrológico. El objetivo primordial del presente estudio es pues determinar el comportamiento energético del ciclo hidrológico y determinar con los datos que se tienen las necesidades existentes en dicha región para aumentar el uso potencial del recurso tierra en su desarrollo. |
